Which hospitals do you serve?

We started in 2014 as a local ministry serving the largest birthing hospital in Kansas, Wesley Medical Center. Since 2015, we have expanded to supporting hundreds of hospitals in all 50 states. We are continually expanding to new hospitals; you can find a map and list of current recipient hospitals here.

Can I get or buy a cradle in memory of my baby or for someone I know who lost a baby?

We are so sorry for your loss. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide cradles to families who have experienced a loss in the past. We wish this were not so, but we have chosen to focus our efforts and cradle inventory on providing cradles directly to hospitals so that families will receive a cradle at their time of need when their baby is born. It is important to us that families have the cradles available to hold their baby and bond with their baby in the few moments they have together. There are many wonderful organizations that provide memorial keepsakes for bereaved families. We highly recommend Molly Bears and Held Your Whole Life. In addition, our Pinterest page has ideas on keepsakes to purchase in memory of your baby or as a gift to a friend or family member who has lost a baby. I know someone who needs a cradle who just delivered or will soon be delivering at a hospital not yet affiliated with you, can you send a cradle to them?

We are so sorry for their loss. Unfortunately, we are not able to overnight or provide expedited shipping of our cradles to individual families. We wish we could comfort every family that needed a cradle, but we do not have the resources or manpower to provide everything this service would require on an individual basis. We have chosen to focus our time and efforts on providing cradles directly to hospitals, therefore allowing families to receive a cradle at the exact time they need one. We are doing everything we can to expand to more hospitals so that the cradles are available to more families across the country. For a growing list of our recipient hospitals, please visit here. How can I help Bridget's Cradles?

We are in need of knitting and crocheting volunteers nationwide, local sewing volunteers in Wichita , as well as financial support. Additionally, we accept material donations (e.g., ribbon, lace, charms). We also appreciate your prayers for our organization. Thank you so much for your love and support.
