Christmas Material Drive

Join us for a very special Christmas Material Drive during the month of December! During this time, we will be accepting donations of ribbons and crosses needed to finish our cradles.

Donations need to be in new condition, preferably in original packaging. We will also accept gift cards to JoAnns and Hobby Lobby so that we can purchase these supplies.

NEEDED MATERIALS

Ribbon: Plain ribbon in solid white, pastel blue, or pastel pink (we prefer light pastel colors; no dark/bright ribbon; satin ribbon is nice); Width: ¼” or 3/8” nothing wider or thinner, please.

Crosses: Gold or silver metal cross charms in sizes 18-32 mm which is ¾” to 1 ¼”; nothing smaller or larger, please. No crucifixes. Metal only (no plastic or other materials).

Donations can be mailed or dropped off to us in person. Here are the ways you can get them to us:

To Mail a Donation: Bridget’s Cradles, PO Box 316 Kechi, KS 67067. You can also mail a check to us if you’d prefer to give a financial donation for supplies instead.

To Drop off a Donation: Place your donation inside our dropbox outside our front door at our HQ in Kechi (please email us for the address). Please place a note inside your bag/box with your name so we know who the donation was from.

Christmas Parties: We have two Christmas parties coming up and we will be accepting material donations at both of them. If you are one of our volunteers or Hope Moms, you can bring your material donation to our Volunteer Appreciation Christmas Party or Hope Mom Christmas Party.

We will have a bin under our Christmas tree for you to place your donation. Please place a note inside your bag/box with your name so we know who the donation was from. You can also use our DipJar to donate by credit card if you’d rather give a financial donation for supplies.

NOTE: Please buy the 10-yard quantities. We have found better prices at Hair Bow Center than other craft stores, but you can also find similar 3/8" ribbons at Michaels, Hobby Lobby, or JoAnns.
