we look forward to 2021 Wave of light
The Wave of Light Remembrance Drive, organized by Bridget’s Cradles, to be held on October 15th, Pregnancy & Infant Loss Remembrance Day, will be a special event to honor all babies in Heaven.
Though October is Pregnancy & Infant Loss Remembrance month, Bridget's Cradles serves bereaved families year-round who experience the heartbreaking loss of a baby.
We would love for you to join us on our mission of comforting bereaved families with the gift of our cradles, support, and resources.
By sponsoring a Wave of Light pole or cluster in memory of your baby, you are not only honoring your baby in Heaven, but helping provide love and comfort to other families grieving their precious baby too.
We would be honored to light the night in memory of your baby.
Please read below for more information about having your family and baby in Heaven be a part of this beautiful and sacred event and mission.
Please submit donation below
How do I sponsor a pole or cluster of "Wave of Light" lights in memory of a baby? What is included?
Please fill out the form above and make your designated donation using the Donate button above. If you'd prefer to mail a check instead of donating through PayPal, you can mail your check to Bridget's Cradles PO Box 316 Kechi, KS 67067.
You will receive a special memorial certificate acknowledging your donation/participation.
There will be a sign in front of the cluster you sponsored (cluster sponsorships only). Single pole and cluster sponsorships will also be listed in our event program with your baby's name.
For cluster sponsorships, we will send you a professional photo of your baby's light cluster with their name on a sign in front of it.
For donations over $100, additional recognition and benefits are included in addition to the light cluster and sign (please see graphics above).
What is the deadline to sponsor lights?
In order for us to have your baby's name on a sign in front of a light cluster and for us to include your baby's name in the event program, your sponsorship must be made by October 9th. For donations over $250, the deadline for your baby's name to be included on the t-shirt is September 28th. After this date, light sponsors over $250 will have their baby's name on everything mentioned above (in the infographic) except for the t-shirt.
I have more than one baby in Heaven. Can I sponsor a cluster and have all of their names on the sign?
Yes, you can. We'd be honored to include all of your babies in Heaven on the sign.
My loss was early and we didn't name our baby. Can I still sponsor a cluster in their memory?
Yes, of course. Many people choose to use their last name such as Baby Smith or Baby Boy/Girl Smith.
Do I have to attend the event / live near Wichita, KS to sponsor lights in memory of a baby?
No, you can live anywhere in the country and you do not need to attend the event in order to sponsor lights. We will send you a picture of the sign of your baby's name in front of the light cluster you sponsored. Your baby's name will be included in the event program and you will receive a copy of the program and a special memorial certificate in the mail.
Do I get to pick the color of the light cluster (e.g., pink, blue, or white)?
We will do our best to assign your baby's light cluster color according to their gender (e.g., pink for girls, blue for boys, white for early or multiple losses). However, dependent on our sponsorship numbers and clusters, we may have to move some sponsorships to white lights. We don't anticipate this happening, but we will do our best. The lights will be assigned on a first come, first serve basis.
